Part of the delivery design team, we have recently assisted Network Rail and Crossrail to submit planning proposals to Bexley and Greenwich councils for the £130m south east section on crossrail. The new station which we are designing is planned to open in 2017 with Crossrail services starting the following year.
Crossrail's Chief executive Andrew Wolstenholme said: "Crossrail will help to transform the local area, dramatically improving transport links, reducing congestion on existing rail services, providing a boost to the local economy and supporting wider regeneration in southeast London."
The existing station will be demolished and replaced by a temporary station by next summer which we are also designing.
A public drop-in session to view the proposals takes place in Abbey Wood Community Centre, Knee Hill, on Thursday (July 11) from 1pm to 7pm.
