Chelsea Embankment is formally named

Our director Jan Kroes, Architect and Landscape Lead (West) Jamie Newborn and Public Art Consultant Bridget Sawyers had the pleasure of attending the formal naming of Chelsea Quay by Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal.

This special visit took place in celebration of the art, landscaping and public open spaces created as part of the Tideway London project.

As London’s Super Sewer nears completion, we are delighted to share in the success of the project, coming together with project stakeholders and honoured guests. As lead architects since 2009, we have worked collaboratively to devise and develop a consistent design approach to the surface elements across the system, integrating the landscape with unique architectural features to improve and enhance the public spaces that connect the Thames with communities across central London.
