Fereday Pollard have been involved in the Kidbrooke Station development since planning. We have recently completed a detailed design package and are now working with local contractor, B + M McHugh Limited.
In what have often been waterlogged ground conditions safety has been a big focus on site during excavations. We have been working in very close proximity to the to rail infrastructure and maintaining exclusion zones around working machinery has been imperative to ensure workforce safety.
Ensuring foundations are not damaged or moved by the machinery is imperative as there is not much space between the foundations to fit the steel frame. Foundation construction close to the existing station footbridge has meant monitoring the bridge for the duration.
The station is due to be complete around the end of 2019.
