The Elizabeth Line wins the RIBA Stirling Prize

The Elizabeth Line was announced as the winner of the RIBA Stirling Prize last night at the prestigious award ceremony.

Jan Kroes, project lead on Abbey Wood attended the awards for Fereday Pollard, “Thank you to the RIBA for hosting and celebrating great architecture at The Roundhouse and to Neill McClements for his speech on the night, recognising all those involved. It was great to see our work celebrated for its architectural merit, a project which embraces passenger experience at its heart and sends a timely and optimistic message about the value of design in infrastructure.

The architectural design of the 10 central London Elizabeth line stations was achieved through the collaboration and coordination of a wider Crossrail client architectural team which included Grimshaw, John McAslan + Partners, Weston Williamson + Partners, Hawkins\Brown, Aedas, Wikinson Eyre, BDP, Adamson Associates Architects, Allies and Morrison, and Fereday Pollard.
